Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our dietary supplement production lines. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated equipment for gummies, liquid bottles, powders, and capsules. We are looking for a candidate with at least 2–3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience who can independently diagnose mechanical and electrical issues. You will collaborate with our production team to minimize downtime, execute preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure strict compliance with GMP standards. This is a vital position for a self-starter ready to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced, growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the setup and changeover of automated packaging and manufacturing equipment (filling machines, labelers, cappers, and gummy depositors).

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures independently to minimize production interruptions.

  • Execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules on motors, conveyors, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled systems.

  • Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) to resolve operational issues.

  • Optimize equipment settings to increase throughput while maintaining strict compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

  • Manage spare parts inventory, anticipating needs for critical components to avoid long lead-time delays.

  • Ensure safety compliance, strictly adhering to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and general plant safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical manufacturing.

  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude (bearings, belts, chains, pneumatics) and electrical proficiency (using multimeters, reading schematics, troubleshooting 24V control circuits and up to 480V power).

  • Education: High school diploma required; technical certification, trade school degree, or Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics is highly preferred.

  • GMP Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a strong plus.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical team members.

  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Benefits

  • Salary: $54,000 – $69,500 per year (Based on experience)
